NYC!!!

So a couple weeks ago on November 19, me, my mom, and Aunt Kim went to NYC on the bus trip. On the bus, my mom won bingo twice, but of course other people won too so the money had to be split.
We really didn't have anything planned to do when we got there, so everything was just what we decided we wanted to do. When we got there, we went to Macys. It's always so crowded and hot in there, but still cool to look around in. We went to the Holiday Lane part where they have everything you could want for Christmas. The whole store had decorations in it as well. When we left there, there was Christmas scenes in the window of some store that were soooo realistic and cool and they all moved. Next, we wanted to go on 5th Avenue to go in all the rich and expensive stores.
On our way there, we stopped in The New York Public Library. It wasn't anything special. But right across the street there was another library that I think had the same name, and this one was amazing. The inside of it was so gorgeous and had so much detail in everything from the walls to the ceilings. We continued to walk and wound up at the Rockefeller ice rink. There were so many people on it, I loved when they fell down LOL. We saw the big tree, but people were still up there working on it. Next, we went in Saks Fifth Avenue. It was so cool, it had so many things for thousands of dollars. Then we went in Gucci, which too had stuff for so much money. We went in the underground Apple store and it was soooooooo crowded. Everywhere you looked there was a million people. But it was still cool to use the elevator thing. We went in FAO Schwartz again because last time there was a birthday party on the big piano so we couldn't use it. But this time, I went on it. It was just me and a bunch of little kids and it was so awkward LOL..but now I can stay I've had my feet on the same surface as Kim and Kourtney Kardashian!!!! After we were down with Uptown, we took the subway to downtown. It was a little easier using the subway this time then it was using it last time.. We ended up somewhere and had to walk forever to get to Dash. We didn't really know where we were going and we had to just keep asking people how to get there. My mom would always say "Do you know were Dash is?" LOL. No one even did. None of the streets we were on were on our little map LOL so we had a hard time. But once everything looked familiar I knew we were on the right street. We went in Dash and I got 3 pencils, with each of their names on it.
Now it was getting dark out and we were hungry, and we wanted to eat in Little Italy, so we got to a corner and saw a sign on a restaurant that said it has been inducted as a member of The Pizza Hall of Fame and was the 1st pizzeria in the U.S., so we ate there. It was called Lombardi's and the pizza and everything there was SOOOO good!!!! I loved it and it had the feel an old NYC pizzeria. I can't wait to go back. After we were done, we took the subway back to uptown. We walked around forever and couldn't find Times Square LOL, but after a while we did. We looked around in a few stores and then headed to where we needed to be to get on the bus.
Overall it was such a fun day doing different stuff we had never done before, and it was nice for a change not to have anything on a list we wanted to do. I love NYC sooooo much, and can't wait to go back :) love you mom and Aunt Kim

Old Forge 2011!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I love summer! And I seriously loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee OLD FORGE! It's the time of the year that my family, the Baldwins and the Putortis go camping at Old Forge! This year we went a little late, but who really cares. My brother had a baseball game or whatever so I went up with Dee and them a day earlier. My fam came the next morning with Pam and Bobby, and Mike and Kathy went when we went up on Sunday. This year we stayed for only a week, we usually stay for like 10 days. So right when we got there, me Sam and Lauren took their devil dog for a walk while they checked in and set up the camper and stuff. I didn't bring my camera or anything because I didn't think we were going to see anything. So we're walking right, middle of the day, when I spotted a bear walking through the woods!!!! I seriously couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!! So me and Lauren ran back to get out cameras and
taken with phone, all I had!
when I was telling Dee, the person at the rental place heard me and asked me where it was, so I told her which I shouldn't have, so when we got back with our cameras, there were rangers already there. They told us to stay back LOL but we still got close to it. Then all of a sudden it started to run up this really steep hill by the river. Then someone up there yelled at it and it ran up and sat up against a tree, and I got my pictures. I was SO happy, 5 minutes into the trip and we already saw a baby bear!!

not coming close...
The deer were kind of annoying this year, only one or two deer out of all of them in the park would eat right out of your hands. There was one specific one that did it every time, and me and Lauren named her Maybelle LOL. The rest would come up to you kinda, and just eat what you threw on the ground.........

In the park  there was this baby deer and it was sooooo cute. There was also a 6 pointer that we saw a few times.

We went to the water safari when Cait and Aunt Susan came up. They stayed in my bed and I slept in Dee's camper. The half day we didn't get good seats, so we ended up sitting below the balloon things, so mom got water on her legs from somebody up above who spilled it on her. Then while they kept going, to get rid of the evidence, they threw the bottle and it hit someone LOL. So on there way back, my mom or Aunt Susan yelled up to them and told them security was waiting for them and they were getting thrown out of the park, which they were. hehe. The guy sitting by us got spit on from someone too. Then there was this person who started yelling at 6 security guards because they were escorting him out of the park. It was a scene........... The Water park was really fun though, we got to do all the rides without long lines, except for the Silverback one.

Fulton Chain of Lakes
One of the days we were there, we rented a pontoon boat for the day on the Fulton Chain of Lakes. Us and the Baldwins only stayed on it for half of the day though. It was really fun. We jumped off of the boat a couple times to cool down, and then we went to an island where there was a rope swing. It wasn't positioned good, so we couldn't get really good air..

Maybelle
We went on the rocky river stream thing like only twice, and we didn't go far down either. Idk why.. We only did the full nature trail once, but me and Sam got off and went a few minutes in each direction off of the paddle boat to try to find the bear that someone in another paddle boat said they saw....we didn't see it though....... We all went and explored in other woods though.. Me and Sam rented a paddle boat almost every day. We would go and jump off of it in the middle of the lake then get back on it quickly. The first time though, we all rented a canoe, and when we jumped off and tried to get back on it, it filled with water.....So we had to swim with it all the way into shore, and me and Sam aren't the biggest fan of weeds, either.......We were scurred because a ranger was waiting for us on shore LOL we thought we were gonna get in trouble because the people on the beach that told us we should wear our life jackets were talking to him....but we didn't get in trouble....... So we went back out and didn't the SAME thing happen....oh well.... So me and Sam stuck with paddle boats for the rest of the trip.
Lake Serene
When me and Lauren were getting off of the paddle boat one time, I (of course) spotted a hugeeee snapping turtle right by the dock!! It was so scurry.................. It wasn't as big as the HUGEST one we saw a few years ago though.

The ducks this year were not really babies, there were kinda bigger, and they didn't really have the warm and fuzzy hurr..but they actually ate right out of our hands, which was different. The mother didn't though. And the chipmunks this year SUCKED. They didn't even come close to me, usually they come up and eat right on my leg, but they didn't this year, which was a little annoying........

So one night, actually like 5 in the morning, Daniel woke us all up because there was a bear outside..So we got up and it was in the back sites behind our campers, I guess, but I couldn't see it!!!!!!!!!!!! My dad and Dan were pointing it out to me, but me and Mom just could not see it.... I think Dan was still dreaming..............................................

So the best bear story of all is this one right here.. So here we all are, sitting out by Pam and Bobby's fire, except Cait, Aunt Susan, Dan, Dad, Lauren, Dee and Mark, when all of a sudden, we hear Aunt Susan yelling at the top of her lungs.. So we all get up, and we see a hugeeeee mother bear right out behind the campers!!!!! We seriously couldn't believe it!!!! Then, we look up in the tree, and there were 2 LITTTTLE cubs!!!!!!!!!!!! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!
The two baby cubs!!!!
I just started taking all these pictures, hoping I was gonna get a good one. They came out dark, but you could see the cubs good in one, and the mother good in a couple. At one point, the mother started to walk towards us, so we all screamed and started running the other way LOL....But then it just continued with her business. Mark Lauren and Dee didn't see it, and neither did my dad (who claims no one got him up......which no one believes because Aunt Susan and Cait were yelling right in the camper.........but then my phone was vibrating one night and he got up to see what it was.......) It was seriously just amazing. I was in shock still about how cool it was while I was laying in bed. Daniel was the first one to spot the mother, who was RIGHT by our bed window getting the garbage that was right there........ Then it looked right in the bottom window when Cait was in it, and they were face to face LOL. Aunt Susan was hilarious, with her screaming and stuff. (And when evil bosley tried to kill her.........)

In town...
We went into town one day to go to the Hardware store and I got the worlds smallest jigsaw puzzle and a few postcards. While we were in town, we went on the side streets to look for deer, and I caught one (I always spot the animals first....) on a persons trailer eating. So we got out and starting to feed it with the loaf of bread I brought with us LOL. She was eating out of our hands and stuff and we were getting pictures of it when this rude lady beeped the horn at my mother to get out of the road with her car and then told us that we could go to jail for feeding them in town LOL.....ok lady......... So we kept feeding it, mind you I brought the entire loaf of bread with us, and another person came out and said we could get in trouble for feeding them......ok.........................So we got in the car and left.We got our pictures with it though... That day, we also had a washer tournament, and me and Rebecca were partners, and we were SOOO good! We almost made it to the finals.

378!
Overall, it was an AMAZING, funny, and entertaining week, with amazing people I love. I loved every minute of it...... I LOVE OLD FORGE! xoxooxoxooxoxooxooxoxoxoxooxoxox

Camp at Lake George!!

So this past week, my family on my Mom's side rented a camp on Lake George. This is our 4th camp we've rented since I was born. They used to do it all the time when they were kids. This was our first time on Lake George, and it was amazing. Me and aunt kim and aunt heather and the kids went grocery shopping a couple hours before we got to go in, and when we got there, I couldn't believe it. I had never seen the pictures on the internet of the camp so I was shocked when I first saw it. The view from the kitchen, which was the first room you were in when you walked in, was amazing. It was such an open layout so everything was together. You could see right to the living room and the back porch which was huge. The windows were sooooo big, up and down stairs, so you could see the lake and the mountains perfectly. The lawn outback was perfect size also. Last year the view from our camp wasn't the greatest, and we were on the little lake that connects to the big one, so this years was such a upgrade. The camp had 3 bathrooms. It had an upstairs which was like a dorm room, it had 3 beds and its own bathroom. Me, Dan and Aunt Kim slept up there. Cait did too when she came for a night. We went tubing alot, and I fell off every single time I went on. literally. Dan didn't fall off for the longest time, like he went 8 or 9 times without falling off. Then he did like right in a row, 3 or 4 times. We played alot of games indoor and outdoor. It was so much fun. Gramma is SO funny. Everything she said was hilarious. All ayla did was cry. That was so annoying... Aiden was so good. Aunt Kim cooked the best food. My mom and Daniel had to leave the camp almost every day because of Daniels baseball games. We of course had alot of visitors...Next door, the people had this turtle that they found on the road like 40 years ago. I held it alot. The people were from Manhattan-SoHo. Which is rightttt where I want to live! It was a really good week. Love you guys!!!

New york!

Last weekend,  I went to NYC for my 5th time, with Aunt Susan, Uncle Walt, and Cait. We drove Ben's car down because uncle walt had to get it fixed, then we were going to take the train back, but he wanted his brakes fixed so we took his car back home as well. We got there late on Friday, like 7pm. Aunt Susan was SO funny when we were in the city but not to his house yet. We didn't exactly know how to get there, and aunt susie was being hilarious. We didn't really do anything when we got there, except we walked around his block and got Dominoes and frozen yogurt things.
~On Saturday, Caroline's birthday party was at Riverside Park, so we went for that for a little bit and ate lunch there. It was oh so hot. Before it ended, we took the subway, my second time on it, down to Times Square. Me and uncle walt waited forever while Aunt Susan and Cait were in Sephora. When we first got off of the subway, we saw the Keeping up with the Kardashians billboard right in Times Square! It was amazing... :) The last thing we did was go to Forever 21. It was 4 stories and hugeeee.
I got a pair of sunglasses. Me and Cait went off together, and Aunt Susan went her own way. When we were done, we couldnt find Aunt Susan ANYWHERE. We went up and down and up and down the escalators and still couldn't find her anywhere. We went up to the top floor to see if she would come up but she didn't. We tried calling her but she didn't answer. Eventually I spotted her. We didn't do any more shopping, so we took the subway back to Ben's. We were going to go to Dash, but we didn't. Me and Aunt Susan went to the grocery store and uncle walt and Cait went back. We saw 2 fights in the store in a matter of 10 minutes. It was funny. Aunt Susan went up and tried to talk to one the people in them but she didn't answer her lol. We went back to the apartment, and me and Cait went up to the roof and took pictures. The adults went out for dinner and we stayed and watched the kids. She had an iPad and that was really cool. Cait it SO funny... LOL *scrolls up SO fast..*
We went to the Croc store a couple times. It was fun because there were so many to try on. But it was small and crowded. I got my dad a pair for Fathers Day.
On Sunday, we went home. We went back to the croc store, but it wasn't open yet, so we walked down to look for stars by the Dakota hotel LOL. Then we walked down in Central park. Before we left the city, we took a wrong turn and ended up in Harlem LOL.
It was a fun trip. OH and i almost forgot- Aunt Susan and Uncle Walk were at the bagel shop and saw Joe Mantegna. He's from Criminal Minds- one of my favorite shows- and of course i missed him...
**I LOVE NEW YORK CITY!**

NEW YORK CITY

Oh how I LOVE New York City!!!!!! ♥ So this past Saturday, May 14th, 2011, me, my Mom, Aunt Kim, Deedee, Sam and Lauren went to NYC on the bus trip. It was, as it always is, AMAZING. I seriously can't see myself living anywhere but there.

When we first got there, we came through so that we were driving through Harlem. There was a lot of homeless people up there. We got off the bus at Central Park right by the zoo. We saw a person with a big snake around his neck, Mom I think screamed or something, and said that it shouldn't be allowed LOL. So we went in Central park for a little bit and we went on the big rock. The view was amazing, you could see so much. The hard part was getting down.. The animals in Central park are so friendly, like the birds and squirrels. The birds are so funny because they fly so close to you. A couple times they flew close to Sam and she would duck, then my mom would scream. It was hilarious.

When we were coming out of Central park, there were like 3 or 4 horses that no one was riding, they were just standing on the side of the road eating with no person with them, so me, Lauren and Sam went over to pet them. I was getting a picture of Sam petting it, and she was facing me and the camera, and the horse moved its head toward Sam, and she literally thought it was going to kill her because she dodged that horse so fast..it was the funniest thing ever. I got the picture as she was moving....LOL!

We continued on walking and the next place we went to was Trump plaza. We got pictures of the Trump hotel and what not. It was cool.

Next, Aunt Kim wanted to show us FAO Schwartz. We walked there and we all split up when we got in, i went with Sam. It was so cool, especially the ceiling how it had the bright red lights all over the place. The whole place reminded me of M&M world. We wanted to see the big piano, which is where Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were for part of them Taking New York!
I was in the same room as them!! woooo!  http://kimkardashian.celebuzz.com/2011/03/14/making-music-with-kourtney-at-fao-schwartz/  We were in line to get on it and when we got up to where we were next, the person told us that he didn't think that we were on the guest list..turns out there was a little kids birthday party on it..LOL So we just went and watched. The people that worked there were amazing how fast they could go.

After we left there, we walked on 5th avenue, which I thought was Park Avenue, but wasn't. The stores were very expensive looking. Alot of them reminded me of my girl Nicki's songs!

Next, we went to St. Patricks Cathedral. The outside of the church looks like it would be the size of Our Lady of Hope in Whitehall, but once you go inside, its like you wonder where you are. Its absolutely HUGE and breathtaking. It seriously is beautiful. When I live in NYC, I am going to church there every week.
We started to look around, and there was sooo many people in there taking pictures, in the little gift shop, getting blessed (we think) lighting candles, and just whatever else. It looks like the church was millions and millions of dollars to build and design because there is so much to it and amazing detail. The alter is amazing, and everything in it looks new and expensive. We lit a candle, and went in the gift shops and just took pictures of everything. It was realllllly cool.

When we were leaving, I stepped on Sam's jeans for like the second time, and they ripped ever more LOL. On the bus ride home, it was oh so hot so she asked me to pull them up, and I ripped them alot...whoops!

We were so hungry by now because we hadn't eaten anything yet, so we walked back to Times Square and ate at Sbarros. I love it there, it was my second one I've been in in NYC. After we ate, we explored Times Square for just a little bit. We went in American Eagle and I got 2 shirts, and me, Sam and Lauren got on the billboard (my third time!!) I love doing that. One day I'll be with one of the Kardashians....

We went in m&m world and just looked around for a minute. We got a special coin thing that you blend together with a quarter and a penny, which I never knew thats how they worked...

Now time for SoHo! We took the Subway for my first time ever in NYC! It was such an experience. We get down there and literally don't know which one to take, how to get there, which ticket to purchase, nothing. We finally figured it out, because there isnt anyone down there to help you, and we get our tickets and go in. We go in, right, and we don't know which one to get on. We read the map thing and it said to get to SoHo, take either the A, C, or E train, I think. But we weren't even in the right section because the signs didnt say those letters. So we kinda just waited for a couple for trains to go by before we figured to move and go ask someone. We found someone in like a booth thing, but of course there wasn't any windows for us to talk to them on the side we were on. So mom went out to ask him,
on the other side. We figured out that on Saturdays, it doesn't matter which train to take, just ignore the letters. Ok.. Mom swipes her card to get back in with us, and it doesn't work.
On the metro card thing it says its a single ride for 2 hours, so we thought it was for one person that could use it for up to 2 hours. Nope. We were wrong, so mom ended up crawling under the bar thing so she could come back with us. LOL it was so funny. I didn't get the picture because at that time I was on my 2nd memory chip and the camera took a while to turn on because I had a lot of pictures on it. We finally got on the subway, and quickly, because Aunt Kim saw someone's arm get shut in the door. We didn't see any rats down there either, or that naked person who harasses people, not that we would want to see him...
The subway took off so quick that we almost all fell over, it was so funny. Mom and Aunt Kim asked this girl when we would get off if we wanted to get off in SoHo, and she didn't really know. But Aunt Kim started laughing hysterically, and we didn't know why. Turns out it was that girls breath was so gross. She couldn't stop laughing and it was obvious she was laughing at the girl for some reason LOL. We got off on the right place and we were finally in SoHo!! yayyyy! DASH!!!!

It didn't take long at all for us to find Dash. I spotted it first, I guess I have an eye for it.. It was on the other side of the street, and from where we were on the other side, you could see that there was a big line just to get into the store! It was really cool. We crossed over and waited in line, it wasn't that long of a wait. Only a certain number of people can go in at once, and there's a doorman who says when you can go in. We couldn't even all go in at the same time. Me and Sam got in first and we started to look around, all excited and stuff, and I tried to take some pictures, and some security guard comes up to me and says that I couldn't take pictures of the merchandise...ok... I didn't really mind though. There clothes are SO expensive, like a pair of short short shorts were like $200. They have all of the products they advertise, like Quicktrim and what not, and Kim's new perfume. I asked for a bottle of Unbreakable, and THEY WERE SOLD OUT!
I was mad, but I do already have it, so I guess I can wait to get another one. I ended up getting there $8 silly bandz and a $10 water. They are both cool though. I wanted to get a t-shirt that says Dash on it, but I forgot to look, and when I got home and googled their store, I found out it was $60. Ok... The reviews online for the store are sooo bad, but I LOVE it :) I wanted to get one of there candles or something, I don't know why I didn't..Next time!

So the Kardashians weren't there :( I knew that, because Kim was in Miami all weekend, and Kourtney and Khloe went there on THURSDAY and left FRIDAY! I MISSED THEM BY ONE DAY! UGHHHH!!!! So I knew they weren't there. We didn't see ANY celebrity :( God is waiting for us to catch someone special I guess :)
Soooooooo, literally before I wrote this, I see that Kourt tweeted....."Spent an extra night in NYC w  'Clueless' and NY pizza... what could be better!?"  AHHHH SO I could have seen her!!!!!  I'm literally just realizing this now... I didn't even think she was still there because she tweeted "Ta-ta NYC! Loved kicking off the  w  today. If ur in NYC today or tomorrow stop by 2 get ur glam on w John Frieda." {on Friday}   Oh well...

Next, we wanted to go to Canal street in Chinatown. My dad went to Chinatown when he was with Ben, and he saw like barrels of turtles and frogs and stuff out on the sides of the streets. So I thought that would be cool, and I figured they would be on Canal street, because everyone said that its a must see..

It literally took us 45 minutes, maybe more, to find Canal street, because we went a wrong way. We couldn't find it for the world, we kept looking and walking, and by this time we were hungry and SO tired. We saw a sign for the Holland tunnel which goes to like NJ or something and we laughed because we thought we were so far off. We felt like we were trying to find the World trade center sight again....
Turns out we were almost there. We finally got down there and it was NOTHING to brag about...NO frogs and NO turtles, no anything like that, it was all just knockoff stuff for low prices I guess..It was all the same stuff too, perfume and scarves and what not. There was literally a perfume section every other 'store' that looked exactly like the one before it. It was a big disappointment. Next time I have to do some research so I can find out where we wanted to go really is!

I had originally wanted to eat in Little Italy, but since we didn't even really do the street in Chinatown I wanted to do, I was kind of over downtown, and figured I was going to look up where stuff is so we can do it right when we come back, so we'll eat there then. So, we decided to take the subway back to Times Square and eat up there somewhere. We went down to the closest subway and got down there and the machines to buy the tickets said it wasn't excepting dollars at this point......Ok? We didn't just have a million quarters layin' around, and there was no exchange thing, so we had to go and find another one. By this time our feet were really hurting and we were very tired of walking.
But what were we gonna do? We looked and looked for another subway and we couldn't find one. We asked the workers in Maserati of Manhattan and they showed us where to go, and we found it easily. No troubles on this subway, because we knew what we were doing this time around :)

We got back to Times Square and had dinner at T.G.I. Fridays. It wasn't my first choice, but I didn't really care. We got a table on the second floor and it was right by the bathrooms so every time the boys bathroom opened, you could see someone peeing at the urinal LOL..It's really expensive in there, but it was good. I don't think I would go back there anytime soon, but it was just something new. After we ate, we just explored Times Square a bit more, I got like a picture frame thing of a bunch of signs on Broadway, and, then, we sadly went and waited for our bus to go home :(

It was another amazing trip with amazing people. The weather was awesome because it was supposed to rain, but we probably only got 3 little sprinkles on us the whole time. We did so much that we haven't done before, and it was SO much fun. I wouldn't trade anything we did there for something else, it was so fun and interesting. Even though I complain about some things, it all makes it New York City, my favorite place :) It made me love NYC more then I thought was possible, each and every time I go there. I had a wonderful day, which wouldn't have been possible without my wonderful family and friends. I love you guys ♥   xoxooxoxoxoxoxooxoxooxoxoxooxoxoxooxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxooxoxooxoxooxoxooxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxox :)
